My name is Jaime White. I have a Bachelors degree in Behavioral Science with a minor in Elementary Education. I also have my provisional Teaching License through the State of Colorado. I have a six year old son named Camron. Instead of becoming a teacher in a school district right away, I opened Bright Minds Childcare and Learning Center to fill a gap in the market for high quality childcare and child education of Infants through pre-schoolers aged from infancy to 5 years. The most important learning for any human being occurs in the first five years of the child's life. I worried about leaving my son in a daycare environment that wasn’t going to enrich his life through learning during all those hours I wouldn’t be able to be with him. Instead of being gone I thought with my degree and teaching license I could stay home with him and set up a pre-school environment in the safety of my own home where I know that he will be constantly stimulated. I decided that instead of just enriching my sons’ life, I could possibly enrich other children’s lives as well. This is why I invite you and your child to be a part of Bright Minds Childcare and Learning Center. My goal is to educate and prepare your child(ren) for school, I won't just baby-sit them.
As a teacher and parent, I will strive to make a difference in your child’s life everyday. Themes, lesson plans, as well as daily activities are designed to teach your child essential concepts. Lesson plans are also alligned with the Colorado State Building Blocks for Preschool children. At the same time the classroom environment will encourage your child to learn by doing independently in thinking and imagining. Each child has a different learning style whether it is through music, theatre, art, kinesthetically, visually, verbally, or logically/mathematically. I provide a learning environment that will include all of these multiple learning styles so that I am able to reach all children through their individual learning styles.
